Homework for the weekend - Read the rest of Round 7 by Monday and do the questions on the study guide that I issued - I will be checking the study guide for Rounds 5-8 by the end of the class period on Monday!!!!

i think chino is innocent. it seems to me that he is looking out for the welfare of his family, and whatever actions he chooses to do, he tries to do in his family's best interests, like how he wanted to keep the ring so he can pawn it to help pay for rent
i also think that chino is innocent. even tho he are doing some things that are not good he is still tryng to do these things for his family and not doing just to be a bad ass
I agree with Rhino. Chino is a smart kid. He knew what he was getting into when he decided that he would hold sapo's drugs. He knew that holding drugs is not something you should do. Chino got lurched big time
All though Chino is getting into the wrong things I still believe he is innocent. His number one priority seems to still be keep track of his family and keep care of them financially. I believe he is innocent.
this is a hard question but i think that he is innocent. he has been doing bad things but he is trying to better his life so i dont think its wrong. he is stuck inbetween a rock and a hard place
i think that chino is innocent. I see where rhino is coming from "he knew what he was getting himself into" but i also agree with anthony when he said that he just got mixed up in trouble. he was just trying to better his life in the long run.
ok, so if you do something bad but have a good intention, like sell drugs to pay for college tuition - does that make it ok? Just because Chino is a good guy at heart, he still knows what he's getting mixed up in - do you think Blanca has a right to be mad?
yeah blanca has a right to be a little bit mad because she wants the money but she wants it in an ethical civilized way not by illegal acts. Chino has good intentions but he is in too deep now he should of got out when he could. Blanca's church background brought her up to be hardworking not to just sell drugs because it was the easy way to alot of money
i think that chino is innocent. even though what he is doing may not be right he is just looking out for the well being of his family. but he getts pressured into doin it because of bodega.
I do feel bad for Chino because I think he is trying to do the right thing. He tries so hard to fix things for the people in his life like Blanca and their unborn child. He keeps himself involved with Bodega longer then he should to make sure that Sapo won't get in trouble for what happened to Salazar. He's smart and I think that he will find a way to fix things for him and his family, it just may take longer then he'd like.

I think that Chino is innocent. I feel bad for him because I think that he is always worrying about others and trying to make everyone around him happy. Even though hes gotten himself into bad situations, I think that the reason he does it is all so that he can support his family.
Well he is trying to help out his with and try to prepare for the son on the way. i dont think he has any wrong intentions just his way of making money isn't very conventional.
I dont' think Chino is completely innocent. Everytime he held something for Sapo, he knew what he was doing; same as the times he went to meet with bodega. In a way he's a victim because he's a good guy with no money to do the things he wants to. so he was doing certain things for his wife and child who is on the way. I dont' feel bad for him but I sympathize with him about certain things and other things he does I don't agree with.
i think he is not innocent and he uses just as many people as bodega and he is not a good guy. he uses bodega for the building and he uses sapo whenever he gets in a tough spot. he also lies to blanca a lot. he smokes weed too. and also because he wrote the book he probably left out a lot of the bad things that he did.
Unlike doogie i agree with Rhino. It doesn't matter if you are not directly selling or using the drugs by holding them you supporting Sapos career choice. I believe that he has dug himself into a hole he cannot get out of because Bodega has more power over him.
i think that chino is innocent becuase while he is doing things that are wrong, what he is doing isnt going to kill anyone and he is going to school and trying to do the right thing for his family
